Approval of Minutes: John moved to approve February 28 minutes; Janet seconded.
Approved 7-0.
New Business:
Wells Fargo — 2350 Hwy 93 N; wall signs replacing existing. Bill moved to approve;
Russ seconded. Approved 7-0.
Old Business:
USFS storage building — 605 Wolfpack Way; revision to previously approved plans.
Wood wainscot instead of stone. Match building or darker brown. Tabled at last
meeting. Julie moved to approve; John seconded. Approved 7-0.
Billboard — 1000 W Idaho. Tabled at last meeting. Waiting for new submittal. Will go
off the agenda until new plans submitted.
Montana Coffee Traders — 111 S Main; remodel. Tabled at last meeting. Held for one
more meeting at applicant's request to finalize plans.
Ford- Hwy 93 N/Rose Crossing; new auto dealer. Tabled at last meeting. Added
corrugated steel banding along top of wall and updated landscaping to show as planted.
Janet moved to approve; Julie seconded. Approved 7-0.
Other Discussion:
Fresh Life — 120 1st Ave E; preliminary comments for proposed addition to existing
church. Discussed trying to match brick. Possible parking in back. Seams and color on
front facade were discussed. Primary issue is whether/how to fit into downtown — should
it match historical look, give a nod to history, or be a bold new urban look. Potentially
add cornice. Discussion on the awnings on the existing buildings.
Next meeting will have several large projects, including the hospital. With necessary
recusals, we need to be sure that we have everyone there if we can.
