SUBJECT Architectural Review Awards
MEETING DATE: October 16, 2017
BACKGROUND: The City of Kalispell Architectural Review Committee began an awards
program in 2010 to acknowledge quality development in the community that reflects the goals and
purpose of the committee, encouraging originality and innovation to protect and enhance the city's
character and appeal. While there have been a lot of examples of good, quality development within
the city over the past few years, the Committee have selected the following projects from 2015 —
2016 for special recognition:
Project: The Toggery (327 Main Street)
Contractor: Bear Mountain Builders
Architect/Engineer: CTA
Project: Northwest Family Medicine (70 Village Loop)
Contractor: Swank Enterprises
Architect/Engineer: KRH Design and Construction
RECOMMENDATION: Recognize Mark Norley, chair of the committee, to formally make the
presentation for the Architectural Review Awards.
