Re: Confirmation of Officer Randall Kaarre
Dear Mr. Russell,
Officer Randy Kaarre has successfully completed the Kalispell Police Department's one year
probationary period effective August 8, 2017. Montana law (7-23-4113) states that at the end of
the probationary period and within 30 days thereafter, the appointment of the officer must be
submitted to the city council for consideration.
Mr. Kaarre graduated from Lincoln County High School in Eureka and has taken classes from
the University of Montana and Colorado State University in pursuit of a criminal justice degree.
Prior to being hired by the City of Kalispell, Mr. Kaarre honorably served our country for four
years in the United States Marine Corp, and worked as a reserve deputy in Lincoln County
Montana.
Mr. Kaarre has been a very quick learner, a positive representative for the City of Kalispell and
during his year with the Kalispell Police Department he has lived up to the Kalispell Police
Department Motto of "Striving to Exceed Expectations".
It is my recommendation that Officer Randall Kaarre be confirmed as a police officer with the
Kalispell Police Department.
Sincerely,
Ro r Nasset
C 'ef of Police
e-,
ROGER NASSET, CHIEF OF POLICE
