05-09-17AGENDA KALISPELL CITY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION TUESDAY, MAY 9, 2017 The regular meeting of the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Kalispell City Council Chambers, Kalispell City Hall, 201 ls` Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana. The Agenda for the meeting will be: A. Call to Order and Roll Call B. Approval of Minutes of April 11, 2017 C. Hear the Public — The public may comment on any matter on the agenda or not on the agenda. (Comments are typically held to 3 minutes or less.) D. Public Hearing: The Planning Board will hold a public hearing and take public comments on the agenda items listed below: l . A request from Owl Corporation for a conditional use permit for multi -family apartments within the RA-2 Zoning District. The multi -family project would include five (5) buildings with eight (8) units each for a total of forty (40) units. 2. A request from Kalispell Meeting Halls, Inc. for a conditional use permit for a private school within the B-1 Zoning District. The proposed new 5,311 square feet private school would be situated on the undeveloped southern portion of 135 Glenwood Drive where there is an existing 4,000 square feet church. 3. A request from SIMCO Properties for a conditional use permit for multi -family residential within the B-1 Zoning District. The multi -family project would include six (6) buildings with eighteen (18) units each for a total of one hundred and eight (108) units. 4. A request from Bridgeland Development, LLP for a major subdivision to be known as Northland Phase 5, the final phase of the Northland Planned Unit Development. The request would subdivide an approximately a remaining 25.5-acre tract of land into 90 single-family residential lots ranging in size from 3,920 square feet to 14,628 square feet. 5. A request from Stanley and Clarene Ross to annex a 5-acre parcel into the City and zone the land R-4 (Residential) upon annexation. The property is currently undeveloped grasslands. Water and Sanitary sewer service are in the vicinity of the property and upon annexation extensions can be constructed to serve the property when development is requested. E. Old Business F.
