From: Mayor Pamela B. Kennedy
Re: Prerelease Center Working Committee
The Montana Department of Corrections is moving forward on locating a site for a 40-
bed prerelease facility in Flathead County. State administrative rules require the establishment of
a working committee With six members selected by the City of Kalispell and six by Flathead
County.
The City and the County released a Joint public service announcement in early December
requestino letters of interest for the committee. The Flathead County Commissioners made their
appointments can January 2? and now it is necessary for the City Council to do the same.
At a special meeting Monday evening, February 11, I will be recommending the
following persons be appointed to the Prerelease Center Working Committee: Nick Aemisegger,
Jr., Rick Halverson, Julianne Hinchey, Tom Jentz, Roger Nasset, and Hank Olson.
