Mark moved to approve, John seconded. Approved 6-0. New Business: Valley Bank is proposing several new sign faces, which include wall signs, incidental/directional signs, and 2 freestanding signs. The freestanding signs are subject to review. They may choose to revise the plans and bring them back, depending upon some other factors. Ken moved to approve; Corey seconded. Approved 7-0. Montana Furniture (2240 Hwy 93 S) was presented by Steve Buenz. They are proposing a new furniture store. The exterior is split face CMU and EIFS. Colors, materials, and landscaping all look good, and it was noted that the cedar over the windows looked good as well. Carol moved to provide a limited approval for the project, with revisions to those features to be submitted prior to construction beyond the foundation. Mark seconded. Motion passed 7-0. Fontecilla (201 3rd Ave W) is planning to substantially remodel an existing building, and move their EIFS business to that location. Hank presented the project. They will use limestone crown moldings, etc, along with EIFS exterior. There will not be any exterior lights. Ken recused himself. John moved to approve, Bill seconded. Approved 6-0. Other Discussion: Huhot will have a neon accent on the chopsticks by their entrance. The neon was included on the plans they submitted, but was not specifically discussed at the ARC meeting. Hilton Garden Inn is still hoping to have the "Silver Creek" casino sign, and the issue is being addressed at the City Manager/City Attorney level. Meeting Adjourned at 8:30
