Old Business:
Eisinger (W Reserve/Hwy 93) submitted updated information responding to earlier
comments from the committee. Kim Larson presented the material/color board. They will
take the stone band across the base (the elevation does not show that accurately). The
included a 12 ft wide landscape island running north/south in the parking area. It will have
low shrubs and will be irrigated. PJ read John's e-mail into the record. The committee
discussed the colors (specifically the 2 shades of blue), and would prefer that they were
the same, and encouraged Kim to discuss the coordination of the colors with his clients.
However, the buildings are far enough apart and have different finishes, so the colors as
proposed would be acceptable. The air handler is being changed from a 10 ft high unit to
a 4 ft high unit. It will still be screened. Signs will be handled separately, and the light
fixtures are acceptable. Bill moved to approve. Ken seconded. Approved 4-0.
Hilton Garden Inn (1840 Hwy 93 S) had one loose end regarding the specific colors to
be used. The committee generally prefers the darker colors. It was noted that color "A"
is the redwood and color `B" is the cedar. Mark moved to accept the first elevation with
the redwood and eliminating the cedar. Ken seconded. Motion failed on a 2-2 vote
(Mark and Ken voting in favor; Bill and Corey voting against). Mark moved to accept the
plans as presented with a strong recommendation to use the first elevation with the
redwood and eliminating the cedar. Ken seconded. Motion approved 4-0.
Famous Daves (Hwy 93 N/Spring Prairie) was preliminarily reviewed last meeting. They
have now submitted landscaping plans as well. Mark moved to approve. Bill seconded.
Approved 4-0.
New Business:
Holiday Inn (Treeline Road/Spring Prairie) has submitted a sign permit application for 2
wall signs on their building which will soon be under construction. The signs are 370 sq ft
and 270 sq ft. Mark moved to approve. Bill seconded. Approved 4-0.
