Kum and Go (2490 Hwy 93 N) has submitted an application for a freestanding sign and
various wall signs. The sign will be slightly higher than the existing sign, which will be
removed. Discussion on keeping the landscaping/shrubs around the base of the sign.
Corey moved to approve, with the recommendation that the landscaping at the base of the
sign remain. Ken seconded. Approved 4-0.
Three Rivers Bank (552 N Meridian) is proposing a new freestanding sign to replace the
existing sign. It will be a sandblasted cedar sign, and they are keeping the landscaping. It
will go in an existing parking space. They stated that they have 61 spaces (58 are
required). They reworked the sign in order to comply with limits on readerboards. The
committee recommends that a larger base/stone work be used to bring more balance to the
sign. Mark moved to approve as presented. Ken seconded. Approved 4-0.
Buffalo Mountain (19 Appleway) is proposing a new freestanding sign. Discussion
relating to maybe matching the colors in the sign to the trim on the building a little better.
If the sign is to be externally lit, it needs to meet the conditions in the lighting ordinance.
Corey moved to approve with the condition that the lighting ordinance be met and the
recommendation that the stain on the sign match the trim on the building. Ken seconded.
Approved 4-0.
Other Discussion: Discussed possible change in meeting location.
