03/05 - 639th Quartermaster Company MonthPROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, many Kalispell men and women have valiantly defended our freedoms in the war on terror; and
WHEREAS, the 639th Quartermaster Supply Company of Kalispell was mobilized in support of the
Operation Iraqi Freedom. in November, 2003, taking 117 soldiers from every corner of. Montana; and
WHEREAS, the 639th operated in Kuwait and Iraq, manning a supply warehouse and providing purified
water and fuel for up to 1.8,000 soldiers; and
WHEREAS, the 639th returned home on Thursday, March 3rd, 2005, following a 15-month active duty;
NOW, THEREFORE,1, Pamela B. Kennedy, Mayor of the City of Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana, do
hereby proclaim the month. of March, 2005, as
639TH QUARTERMASTER SUPPLY COMPANY MONTH
in the City of Kalispell and encourage the citizens of our community to support the men and women of the 639th
for their efforts to }yelp keep America safe.
