The procurement included the purchase of one (1) 2017 Custom Pumper with a 2000 GPM Waterous Pump built to the specifications advertised. Two responsive bids were received. Both bidding agencies met or exceeded all of the minimum specifications. General Fire — Rosenbauer $501,525.00 Bigsky Fire Equipment -- Smeal $481,103.00 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended to award the bid to Bigsky Fire Equipment in the amount of $481,103. ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to award the bid for one (1) 2017 Custom Pumper — 2000 GPM Waterous Pump to Bigsky Fire Equipment for the amount of $481,103. FISCAL EFFECTS: The purchase of the 2017 Custom Fire Pumper — 2000 GPM Waterous Pump will be funded by a Montana Board of Investments (BOI) Intercap Loan to be serviced by the City's general fund. Currently, the BOI interest rate is 1.55%, and is adjusted annually based on the market. At 1.55%, the initial annual debt service, based on a 10 year term, would be approximately $55,000.
