01-05-16 Business Improvement District MinutesKALISPELL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BOARD MEETING MINUTES Meeting date: January 5, 2016 Location: 14 P St. E., Kalispell, MT. PRESENT: Chairman Jon Fetveit, Tim Price, Marshall Noice, Debbie Snyder, John Hinchey t Pam Carbonari (BID Coordinator) PUBIN ATTENDANCE: LIC Sammi Johnson and Connor Welles with the Flathead Beacon and Janet Clark, property owner MOTION: to approve the agenda dated January 5, 2016 and the minutes of December 1 by Debbie Snyder with a second from John Hinchey — approved unanimously. BUSINESS Board Members: We are still waiting to receive letters of interest from Karen Cramer and the owner tf her building Alan Clark. Jon Fetveit will reach out to Rita Fitzsimmons, Lee Kozlowski, Roger Sullivan, Attorney will be contacted by Marshall Noice and Tim Price will contact Brian Pe1c. BID Renewal: Pam Carbonari was requested by the board to follow up with David Petersen from the Kalispell Center Mail regarding the potential addition of the Kalispell Center Mail to the BID District. The board discussed the concerns of Janet Clark regarding the cap for the Kalispell Center Mail and other properties and also continued discussion with the southern boundary for the proposed new district. There was general agreement that the determining factor for the northern and west side boundaries would be determined by the response from David Petersen. We will address the boundaries again at the next meeting. John Hinchey remained concerned about the southern boundary and does not feel that we should take the district to the court house on Main St. The remaining board members would like to go down to the court house on Main. 1,01 1 1 Ca,%rbonari will follow up with David Peterson and Pam and Jon Fetveit will try to meet with t1I Manager at Super One Foods to discuss the BID renewal. ��I! piq� PRO ADJOURN-.- Motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 AM by Marshall Noice with a second by Tim Price. The motion passed unanimously.
