PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
First American Title — 219 E. Center; new office building. There are some adjustments in the
parking lot that are going on, and they will be getting additional plans in here in the next few weeks.
Fucci noted last week that it will be around the 20th. This will be on the agenda next week.
KRMC — 320 Sunnyview Lane; G.I. Building (new digestive health building). This will be going off
the north of the existing building, right near the Women's/Children's Clinic. They are planning for an
April start. This is on hold while they are still working on their PUD. The PUD for KRMC went to
the Planning Board Work Session on Tuesday. This was well received by the Planning Board and will
be going to the February 14th Planning Board Meeting. Nygren noted the only challenging issue to be
worked out is calculating the parking. Sorensen stated we had them put in some performance
standards on the contractor's area. Some of it involves some of the dust abatement rules that Public
Works uses. This will be on the agenda for next week.
McDonald's — 1I10 Hwy 2 W; new building to replace existing. Haskins spoke with Doug
Peppmeier last week and they expect to have some updated plans to Public Works by next week.
Sorensen has not received anything on the flood plain, but we are not anticipating that will be a
problem. They will need to take down the large M they presently have for signage and go with
something smaller. This will be on the agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
Hammerquist & Casalegno — 1417 I't Ave E; addition to existing office building. They have
discussed the landscaping with Fincher. They will be adding curbing. Some parking spaces that are
presently up against the building that will be moved out further south. Haskins asked about access
rights to where the parking will be moved to. Do they have an agreement with Tire-rama and the
Outlaw Inn? Sorensen believes they have cross -easements or access agreements, but that will need to
be verified. Tabler asked if there were any sidewalks there.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
KRMC PUD — see above under Old Business.
Rezoning - The B3 rezoning for the east side from 4th Avenue East to the east City limits has been
approved.
Stampede Packing — Their annexation was approved.
Subdivision (formerly known as The Glacier Towne Center), Phase I, lots were approved. This is
located south of The Armory and the MDT Maintenance Facility. CTA will be doing the design. The
Ford dealer wants to put out bids, and WGM can't do the site design when they don't know the
design of everything else yet. The infrastructure is not in yet, either.
OTHER REPORTS:
Mann Mortgage — Silverbrook PUD went to the City Council Work Session Monday night. Council
was supportive of it, but want it to go to Public Hearing. The Public Hearing will be February 6th
This would modify the conditions to take away the one-story maximum height to allow for two-story
height. It would also take away the 25,000 gross square footprint maximum size to a 25,000 square
foot footprint. Everything else would be the same.
Green Nissan - Jackola is doing the architecture, and APEC is doing the engineering. This should be
coming in soon.
Hyundai - Will be going in to the south of Green Nissan. Also coming in soon.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:12 a.m.
