ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

Old Business: Starbucks (Spring Prairie/Hwy 93N)
Revised outside architecture of building to address the committee's
comments/concerns. More stone and timber has been added as well
as a different color scheme to the building to achieve the desired
look.
Mark moved to approve the revised plans as submitted

New Business
(A) Signs: Valcon (640 W. Montana) — freestanding sign
A brief discussion on the location of the site.

(B) Building Permits: Trinity Youth Center (452 3rd Ave. WN) proposed 4,800 square
foot youth center
Corey recused himself from taking action on this item and then
presented the proposal to the rest of the committee. Corey stated
that signage for the youth center had not been considered yet
however any signage would come back to the committee for
review. A brief discussion on lighting for the building and adjacent
parking lot took place. Jim Braaten stated that there was existing
street lighting and some alley lighting for the parking area. Gini
suggested that lighting for the building and parking lot should be
considered.

Flathead High School (644 4th Ave. W) proposed 16,000 square
foot student commons/food court addition
Corey recused himself from taking action on this item and then
presented an overview of the addition to the committee. Sean
Fitzpatrick and David Coel from CTA provided a more in depth
description of the architectural features incorporated into the
proposed addition and how the addition will blend with the existing
school buildings. Mark appreciated the fact that they were saving
some of the windows and architectural features to incorporate into
the new addition.

14 Screen Theatre (Hutton Ranch Plaza/Hwy 93) proposed movie
theatre in Hutton Ranch.
Two Commercial Retail buildings (Hutton Ranch Plaza/Hwy 93)
proposed commercial retail buildings on pads C and E in Hutton
Ranch Plaza
Phil Harris and Kim Larson presented the projects including
elevations, building materials, colors and discussed lighting for the
buildings. Mark brought up the need for more evergreen
landscaping to be incorporated into the project. Phil Harris stated
that Sitescape Associates is doing the overall landscaping and that
evergreen trees will be incorporated into the design and that
significant landscaping will be placed along the front of the theater.
Corey liked the use of the tower elements, how the theater building
was broken up and the color scheme.
