The applicant has applied to Lhe City of Kalispell for a conditional use permit to allow the
construction of a new 12,400 square foot student commons/food court addition to Flathead High
x School, located in a Low Density Residential Apartment, RA-1, zoning district.
The, Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission, after and prop notice, on
May 9, Zoo , bel d a public hearing on the application, took public comment and recommended that
the application be approved subject to three conditions.
After reviewing the application, the record, the KPD report, and after duly considering the
matter, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, pursuant to the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance, hereby
adopts Kalispell Planning; Department Condflio al Use Report KCI -o6-5 as the Co ncil's findings
of fact and issues and grants to the above -described real property a conditional use permit to allow
the constr ct .on of a new 12,400 square foot student commons/food court addition. to Flathead High
School, located 1n a Low Density Residential Apartment, IAA-1., zoning; district subject to the
following conditions:
I.. That the proposal will be developed in substantial con.fornance with the approved site plan and
the Kalispell Zoning ordinance.
.. A. fire service connection shall be provided in a location approved by the Kalispell Fire
Department prior to a final certificate of occupancy.
3. That the conditional use permit is valid for a period of 18 months from the date of
authorization.
