The applicant has applied to the City of Kalispell for a conditional use permit to allow an
approximately 1, 109 square foot expansion to an existing 2,233 square foot building. The building is
used as a community service center and is a non -conforming use in the R-3 zone. The expansion o
the b ild .ng would provide a receiving and sorting area for items donated from the community.
The Kalispell City Planning g Board and Zoning Commission, after due and proper notice, on
August 9, 2005, held a. public bearing on the application, took public comment and recommended
that the application be approved' subject to five conditions.
After reviewing the application., the record, the Kalispell l Planning Department report, and
after duly considering the matter, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, pursuant to the Kal .spel
Zoning ordinance, hereby adopts Kalispell Planning Department Conditional Use Report #KC --
as the Co ncil's findings of fact, and issues and grants to the above -described real property a
conditional use penult to allow an approximately 1,109 square foot expansion to an existing 2,23
square foot building 1n the .1 -3, Urban Single Family Residential zoning district subject to the
foloing conditions:
1. That the proposal will be de le: oped in substantial conformance with the approved site plan.
2. That the driveway and parking lot be paved.

3. That the building be limited in height to one story.
4. That all of the required conditions of approval be met prior to the issuance of a certificate o
occupancy.
5. That no outside storage of any type be allowed an the property.
. That the conditional use permit is valid for a. period of 18 months from the date of
authorization.
