GUESTS: Margaret Davis (citizen); and Toby McIntosh (Jackola Engineering).
HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
Scotty's — 2205 Hwy 93 S; new storage building. We still do not have any response to the Site
Review and zoning comments. This will be on the agenda for next week.
KRMC — 310 Sunnyview Lane; new women's/children's clinic. We have received their PUD
Application. Sorensen noted that a lot of issues that have come up over the last several years will be
addressed through the PUD, looking at their Master Plan and how it functions as a campus.
Comments sent earlier this week from Public Works have not been responded to yet. McIntosh noted
that they are working on them. The impact of the handicapped parking location on the bike
pedestrian path needs to be resolved. Clawson noted that he received electronic addendums
yesterday. Tabler stated they may want to discuss how we want them to abandon the water main and
the sanitary sewer. This will be on the agenda for next week.
Hobby Lobby — Spring Prairie 4; new retail. It will be a 55,000 sq. ft. building. Plans have been
received but not yet reviewed. We are looking at how the bump out would impact the pedestrian area
up in front and also how the service area in the back would look. This will be on the agenda for next
week.
Kalispell Center Mall — Herberger's expansion. This has gone through ARC. Public Works has
approved their underground utilities. They have the go ahead to start demo and some of the
underground work. We told them it is still "at their risk." New plans have been received but not
reviewed yet. There were some changes with the loading dock. Fincher is waiting for more
landscaping information. This will be on the agenda for next week.
USFS — 650 Wolfpack; new storage building. They are doing a parking lot expansion. We met with
them earlier today. A new Landscaping Plan will be coming in soon. Drainage was not working well
on site. The Amended Plat and Roadway Extension will be filed this week. There will probably be a
surveyor's note on there that will tie back to essentially a Subdivision Improvement Agreement for
putting in that roadway extension. It's probably five years out, but possibly sooner. We will be
submitting the plat, and the bonding in place for the road extension will be tied to their Certificate of
Occupancy. This will be on the agenda for next week.
First American Title — 219 E. Center; new office building. We are waiting for redrawn plans from
Nick Fucci. This will be on the agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
Glacier View Professional — 165 Commons Loop; new office. This is next to Professional View.
They will have upper and lower parking lots. Plans have been received but still need to be reviewed.
This will be on the agenda for next week.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: None.
OTHER REPORTS:
Jim Thompson, the original developers in Buffalo Stage, off of Whitefish Stage, have a parcel there
that is a 60'roadway reserve. Possible access roads were discussed. He wants to have us release the
restriction that it be a roadway reserve so they can sell it as a building lot. We would be willing to
take it as a dedication to the City for now but will not release it as a roadway reserve. The City
would need to mow the lawn if we get the dedication from them.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:28 a.m.
