HE IT ORDAIYED FY TEN CITY COTUIXIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPRII
MGNTANA.
Section 1. That Sect icn 2, of Article IV, of Chapter, XW, of the
Revised ordinances of 1899, be and the same is hereby amdhded to
read as followu
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons riding a
hicycle, to ride the same alone and upon the sidew.alks of Main Street
to Fourth Street, First Avenue East, First Avenue West, First Street,
Second Street, Third Street hetween Second Avenue thst and .Second.
Avenue West, and uponsecond Avenue East between railway right of way
and Second Street, and any other street and avenue in thy: city of
Xalispe1l Which has been gravelled and graded'
I Section 2. All ordinances an4 parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed ,
I Section 3. This ordinance shall take Iffect on the 151h day
of July 1908,

It was thereupon moved by Alderman Schuman, and seconded
by alderman Buckinblam that tho bids for the construction of
cement walks be referred to tho committee on streets and alleys,,
and that said committee reDort at the next meeiing. Motion carried
unanimously on vivavoca vote.

Thereupon alderman Dickey made the following motion;
Whereas the requirement in regard to the kind of bond to be given
by the contractor onthe dement walk contract has not been formerly

in regard to the sane in the minds of some of the aldermen, ea"id it f
fart her apnears that the specification on ilhich said bids are, made
are somewhat indefinite, and contradictory' I move that the report
of the street and alley committee be accepted, and that the cenent
walk contract b4twarded to W. A. Powers on condition that he give
bonds with soiLe doing business in the State of Monta.m
as surety. This bond to O.e given within 10 days from this date.
TRis motion was seconded I b7r alderman Buckinehamt and on a viva voca
vote was carried unanimously.
