Lower Level Conference Room
201 First Avenue East
ATTENDING:
Keith Haskins, Senior Civil Engineer Jarod Nygren, Senior Planner
Tom Tabler, Senior Civil Engineer P.J. Sorensen, Chairman
Kathy Nelson, Recording Secretary
HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
Spring Prairie Phase IV — overall site development plan. Sorensen noted that we have received the
updated plans and responses. He is not certain whether Fincher has received them. We are still
waiting for the final MDOT signoff. Sorensen noted that the new plans do not appear to show the
trees on the driving aisles coming in off of the roads. Fincher may have agreed to allow the trees to
be put in after construction so they don't get damaged. This will be on the agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Meadows at Four Mile — They have submitted their Final Plat.
New Zoning District (B-3) — The new zoning district for the core area was approved.
Zone Change — The zone change on Main Street for a half block near Moose's to B-3 was approved.
OTHER REPORTS:
Four Townhouses - 1221— 6th Street West. Sorensen spoke with some people who are wanting to
tear down the old house and take out the trees, bushes, etc. to build four attached townhouse units.
No subdivision is required but they would need a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to do the four -unit
configuration. They will also be required to put in sidewalk, curb, and gutter and independent utility
connections. They will need to talk with Public Works about their four single -car driveways. Each
two-story unit will have approximately 1,600 sq. ft. of living space and a single car garage.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
