PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS:
Canvas Church — They have requested their Certificate of Occupancy. They have completed their
paving striping on one lift, and another lift will be coming in this spring/summer. They will need to
stripe that, including all their handicapped spaces. Public Works and Parks have approved all their
improvements. Sorensen will work with them on a bond for the striping.
Beehive Homes — Haskins is working with Josh Burlage from Beehive Homes on a bond for items
that have not been completed as part of this first phase of construction. This would include the main
that they didn't complete, the pedestrian path, and for landscaping. Fincher noted he would need to
submit either a contractor's estimate or an engineer's estimate of what's left to be done. Sorensen
related that Architecture Review had 5 or 6 items that he deviated on from the plans. They were
willing to accept most of them, except on the stone wainscoting across the front of the building. They
will bond for that. They also have a maintenance bond for Public Works to cover 20 percent of what
they installed that will become our infrastructure. They are still putting those numbers together.
Sorensen received a couple of bid prices on labor and material for that.
OLD BUSINESS:
Spring Prairie Phase IV — overall site development plan. Nothing new on this project. Haskins
noted that he has had some conversations with their contractor, trying to figure out how to reuse
some of the manholes that they already ordered. Parks has plans but they have not reviewed them
yet. Blumenstein is getting a cost estimate on replacing the sidewalks that are broken on the north
side. This will be on the agenda for next week.
Kalispell Oral Surgery — 180 Timberwolf, new clinic. They are working with MDT on outflow
from their pond. Freyholtz believes it is close to being completed. Fincher is waiting to hear back on
their original comments he send them. Sorensen is waiting for a response to his comments as well.
Public Works has signed off. Police and Fire are okay with this project. This will be on the agenda
for next week.
Immanuel Lutheran — 185 Crestline; Phase 1B expansion. Public Works is working through their
returned comments. Haskins has a meeting with them today regarding the bulb outs. He is waiting
for a fresh set of plans. This will be on the agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Vista Village — PUD and Subdivision for Vista Village. Nygren stated that Bruce Wederspill met
with Haskins and has decided to withdraw his project for now. He stated he may look at it again in a
couple of years.
OTHER REPORTS:
Treeline Village — Haskins noted that water main testing has been completed at Treeline Village. It
should be certified shortly, and then everything will be online.
