A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF KALISPELL GAMING RULES AND REGULA-
TIONS TO PROVIDE FOR GRANTING A TEMPORARY DEALER PERMIT TO DEALER
LICENSE APPLICANTS; PROVIDING FOR FEE AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH A PERMIT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS FOL-
LOWS:
SECTION 1. The Gambling Rules and Regulations of the City of
Kalispell, as heretofore adopted and amended and presently in force
are hereby amended to add to Regulation #13 a new sub -section to re
as follows:
13.60. Temporary Dealer Permits. At the time an
applicant for a Dealers License files same with
the City Treasurer, a Temporary Dealer Permit may
be issued to said applicant under the following
terms and conditions:
A) All Dealer Application Torms as required shall
be completed and filed with the Treasurer;
said application must have been approved by
the Chief of Police for compliance with Section
#13.30 above. The applicant must state where
he will be employed-
B) The application must be accompanied by the reg-
ular investigation fee as required by Section
#13.20 plus an emergency investigation fee of
$25.00; the license fee of $60.00 as provided
by Section #13.40 above shall also be prepaid.
None of said fees shall be refundable if a
Dealers License is later denied by the Gambl-
ing Committee of the Council for cause.
C) The Temporary Permit shall be valid only for a
period of sixty (60) days from the date of issue.
D) If all of the foregoing conditions are met, the
Treasurer shall so advise the Chief of Police
who shall issue to the applicant a Temporary Per-
mit distinct in color from a regular Dealers Li-
cense. Thereafter during the validity of the
Permit or until a regular Dealers License is is-
sued said applicant may work as a Dealer only at
the place stated in A above. The Temporary Per-
mit shall be prominently displayed on his person
while the permittee is working as a Dealer.
E) Immediately the regular dealers license investi-
gation shall be conducted and the Gambling Com-
mission of the Council shall act on the applica-
tion in the regular manner. if a regular Dealers
License is issued, the Temporary Permit shall be
surrendered to and cancelled by the Treasurer.
SECTION 2. All. other portions of the Kalispell Gaming Regula-
tions shall remain in full force and effect.
