engineer on said project, certain changes and alterations of design and specifica-
tions have been found necessary and adviseable and in the best interests of the
City; and said changes and alterations could not have been necessarily foreseeable
when the original, design and specifications were prepared on this phase of the

it.appears in the best interests of the City to approve said changes

be it hereby resolved-
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plans of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Pack & Company ,

hereby approved; and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations end modifications
are agmed to in writing, signed by the contractor, as hereby approved by the
Council, this approval thereof shall be in effect.

1. Delete 54 tons asphaltic concrete binder
and surface course in -place.
2. Delete 27 c.y, gravel base course in -place.
3. Delete 113.3 gallons bituminous prime coat
in -place.
4. Add 1,456 l.f. laydown curb and gutter in -place,
5. Add 2.1 feet of manhole extra depth.
B. PURPOSE:
1. Delete asphaltic pavement.
2. Delete gravel base coarse.
3. Delete asphaltic prime.
4. Add concrete curb and gutter in place of asphaltic
concrete.
5. Raise manhole in nonstreet area.
C. COST:
1. Decrease estimated quantity to 1,446 tons and total
cost by $1,302.48.
2. Decrease estimated quantity to 1,473 c.y. and total
cost by $240.30.
3, Decrease estimated quantity to 2,636.7 gallons and
total cost by $73-65.
4. Add unit price for laydown curb and qutter, $5.55
estimatcd,quantitV 1,456.5 feet, and a total cost of
$8033.58.
5. Add unit, price of $80.00/l.f. or $1-62.00.
