Resolution 3279 - Deliquent AssessmentRESOLUTION NO. 3279 A RESOLUTION FINDING THAT ONE OR MORE OF THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS DUE UNDER SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 315 & 316 ON CERTAIN LOTS IN SAID DISTRICT, ARE DELINQUENT AND DECLARING THAT ALL PAYMENTS OF SUBSEQUENT INSTALLMENTS THEREOF ARE DELINQUENT, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO CERTIFY SAME TO THE COUNTY CLERK OF FLATHEAD COUNTY TO REQUIRE THE FLATHEAD COUNTY TREASURER TO COLLECT SAME. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:. SECTION I. From a review of City of Kalispell tax records it appears and the City Council does hereby find that the special assessments due to the City under Special Improvement District No. 315 & 316 , as of the date hereof, for the following described parcel or parcels of property within said district, are delinquent in the amounts so noted: Amount Of Property Year Due. Delinquency Gibson Addition #41, Lots 1 & 3 1977 $11,581.12 1978 11,699.51 1979 11,211.02 TOTAL $ 34,491.65 SECTION II. The Council does further find that the balance of all subsequent installments of the special assessments due under Spe- cial Improvement District No. 315 & 316 against said parcel or parcels is: Property Gibson Addition Ai, Lots 1 & 3 Balance of Installments Due to Maturity $40,074.24 See attached Exhibit "A" for breakdown of assessments And, the Council does hereby declare said balance due and g delinquent. _( SECTION 111. The City Clerk shall forthwith certify to the Flathead County Clerk such delinquency and request the Flathead County Trea- surer to collect said delinquent special assessments due against said parcel or parcels of property in the same manner and at the same time as city taxes for general, municipal and administrative purposes are collected by said Flathead County Treasurer, and in case the same are not paid, the whole property shall be sold the same as other property is sold for taxes, all as provided by Section 7-12-4183(2), M.C.A.
