A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO CONVEY
CERTAIN REALTY IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City did acquire certain realty, more par-
ticularly described hereinafter, under a Federal (HUD) Com-
munity Development Block Grant program for the purpose of de-
velopment of a senior citizen's housing project; and
WHEREAS, after proceedings held by the City through the
Community Development Department in accord with the HUD rules
and regulations concerning such a development, it was decided
by the City Council to sell said realty to Taylor, Then,
Thompson and Peterson for the purpose of carrying out said
project; and Gateway Development Management is the agency
through which Taylor, Thon, Thompson and Peterson will develop
said project; and
WHEREAS, the sale price for said realty does equal or
exceed the duly established fair market value for said pro-
perty;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to convey to said Taylor, Thon,
Thompson and Peterson, or to their duly appointed and agreed
successors, Gateway Development Management, the following
described premises:
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 69, Original
Townsite, City of Kalispell
Said conveyance shall contain all necessary covenants
and restrictions to comply with the requirements of HUD in the
administration of such Community Development Block Grants by
the City. The sale price is $79,800.00.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL BY A TWO -THIRD OR MORE AFFIRMATIVE
VOTE OF THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR, THIS 21st
