Resolution 3146 - Resolution of Intent - Annexation - Greendales RESOLUTION NO.3 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, TO BE KNOWN AS GREENDALE ADDITION NO. 87 AND TO FIX THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEA-RING THEREON; TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SAID HEARING. WHEREAS, Patricia A. Hansen, Trustee, has made petition to the City of Kalispell for annexation to said City of certain territory to be known as Greendale Addition No. 87; and WHEREAS, a preliminary plat thereof has been revYewed and considered in accord with the laws of the State of Montana and the subdivision regulations of the City of Kalispell by the Kalispell City -County Planning Board and said Board has, by communication dated October 31, 1977 recommended that said petition be granted under certain conditions; and it appears that said conditions are or will be adequately satisfied, and that it is to the best interest of the City of. Kalispell that said petition be granted, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS: 1. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that territory comprising Greendale Addition No. 87 shall be annexed to the City of Kalispell and shall be -classified a Residential R- District in accord with the City of Kalispell Zoning Ordinance, as adopted November 28, 1977. Said territory is more particularly described as follows: A tract of land located in the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, M.P.M., Flathead County, Montana, being a part of Block 2, Greenacres, Montana, according to the Plat thereof on file with the Flathead County Clerk and Recorder, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the SWaSEo of said Section 17; thence North 89127102" West a distance of 30.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said Block 2, Greenacres, Montana; thence continuing North 89027'02" West, on and along the North boundary of said Block 2, a distance of 150.01 feet to a point, which point,is the true point of beginning; thence continuing North 89027'02" West, on and along said North boundary of Block 2, a distance of 279.28 feet to a point, which point lies at the approximate centerline of a slough; thence South 01011'00" East, on and along said centerline, a distance of 157.70 feet to a point; thence South 00'37'42" West, on and along said centerline, a distance of 182.52 feet to a point; thence South 05'24'18" West, on and along said centerline, a distance of 155.13 feet to a point, which point lies on the North boundary of Block 3, Greenacres North-west Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof on file with the Flathead County Clerk and Recorder; thence South 89°31'13" East, on and along said North boundary of Block 3, North-west Subdivision, a distance of 292.49 feet to a point, which point lies on the West boundary of the tract of land annexed to the City of Kalispell by Resolution No. 2723, records of the City of Kalispell, Montana; thence North 00001'00" East, on and along the West boundary of said annexed tract, a distance of 494.38 feet to the true point of beginning. 2. A public hearing on said petition for annexation will be held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting held in the Council Chambers of the Kalispell City Hall commencing at 7:30 p.m. on the 1st day of May, 1978. 3. The City Clerk will forthwith prepare and publish in the Daily Inter Lake a daily newspaper published at Kalispell., Montana, proper notice of said public hearing.
