RESOLUTION CREATING SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 324 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING, GRADING, IMPROVING, PAVING AND PROVIDING
FOR A STOR?4 SEWER IN FIRST ALLEY EAST IN DOVATIOUN KALISPELL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of July, 1976 said Council did
pass and adopt Resolution No. 3063, a resolution of intention
to create Special Improvement District No. 324; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City did give notice of the
passage of said Resolution by publishing same for five successive
days in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in
Kalispell, Montana, beginning on August 23rd, 1976 and also on
August 23rd, 1976 true copies of said Notice were mailed to all
persons having real property within said district; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of September, 1976, at the regular
meeting of said Council, the Council did conduct .a hearing on
said Resolution No. 3063, and insufficient protests, written or
oral, were made or presented against creating said Special
Improvement District No. 324 to prevent its creation,
NOW THEREFORE, said Council does hereby create Special
Improvement District No. 324 for the purpose of establishing,
grading, improving, paving and providing for a storm sewer in
First Alley East in downtown Kalispell in that certain area
described as follows: All of Blocks 36, 45, 56, 65, and 76,
of Kalispell Original Townsite.
The approximate cost of said improvements is estimated to
be Ninety Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($90,000.00)< Said costs
will be assessed against all of the parcels of property within
said district on the basis of the proportion that the lineal
feet of said parcel abutting the alley -of ` id district bears
to the total in al)feet thereof within said district. Said cost
may be paiden full upon completion of the ontract, or in ten
equal annup installments extending over period of ten years.
