A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 322.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTAN,
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the Cit,
of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement District No.
322 for the following described area:
See Schedule "A" attached hereto, and which, by this reference
is made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be
made in said proposed Special Improvement District is bringing up
to grade, pave and install curbs on that portion of Claremont Street
included within the above described area from U.S. Highway #93
easterly to near the Flathead Health Center and thence southerly
to the intersection thereof with Crestline Drive.
SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is
$1-10,000.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements
shall he assessed against each lot within the district to he
assessed on the basis of the proportion that the lineal feet of
said parcel affronting upon said street bears to the total lineal
feet of said street within said district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon
completion of the contract, or shall be paid in ten (10) equal
installments, hereby extended over a period of ten (10) years,
Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special
Improvement District No. 322.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District warrants issued against said district in
sums not to exceed $1,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate not
to exceed the rate allowed by the laws of the state of Montana
from the date of registration until, called for redemption or paid
in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 18th day of August, 1975, at 7:30 p.m., at
the Community Room of the Conrad National Bank, in the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council
will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the
making of said improvements or the creation of said district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to

A tract of land in Highland Park, Highland Park First Addition,
Highland Park Second Addition to Kalispell, Montana and in
Government Lots.6, 7, and 14 of Section 6, Township 28 North,
Range 21 West, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Northwesterly
boundary line of Crestline Avenue with the West boundary
line -of Claremont Street; thence
Southwesterly along the Northwesterly boundary line of said
Crestline Avenue to a point on said boundary line which
is 18.44 feet Southwesterly of the Southwest Corner of
Lot 13 of Block 2 of said Highland Park; thence
Northwesterly, parallel with the Southwesterly boundary line of
said Lot 13, 169 feet, more or less, to a point on the
center line of vacated Summit Avenue; thence
Southwesterly along said centerl=_ne to its point of intersection
with the Southwesterly boundary line of said Lot 14
extended Northwesterly; thence
Northwesterly along said line to the Southeasterly boundary line
of Block 5 of said Highland Park; thence
Southwesterly along the Southeasterly line of said Block 5
to the Northeasterly Boundary line of U. S. Highway #93;

Northwesterly along said boundary line of Highway 93 to the
Southwesterly corner of that tract recorded December 30,
1970, Recorder's Fee No. 9646, Book 521 page 365; thence
South 86' 45' 54" East along the southerly boundary line of said
tract a distance of 274.73 feet to the Southeast Corner
thereof; thence
North 3° 13' 25" East a distance of 329.92 feet to the South
boundary line of Sunny View Lane; thence
Southeasterly along said South boundary line to the Northeast
corner of Government Lot 7; thence
North 89° 26;' 40"East along the North line of Government Lot
14 a distance of 384.07 feet; thence.
South 3° 31' 19" West a distance of 295.91 feet; thence
North 89' '26' 40" East a distance of 295.16 feet; thence
South 3° 31' 19" West a distance of 529.78 feet; thence

South 3° 18' 58" West a distance of 258.61 feet to the North
line of Claremont Street; thence continuing

South 30 01' West along the East line of said tract a distance
of 140.28 feet to the South boundary line of said Section.
