A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
PETERSEN ADDITION, KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 59
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Petition of Bernhardt C. Petersen
and Virginia M. Petersen, filed with the City Council of the City
of Kalispell, on the 19 day of Au�ust , 1974, and the sub-
mission i mission to said Councisaid petitioners of a plat reflecting
the survey and designation of that territory adjoining and adjacent
to the City of Kalispell, as an addition thereto, and pursuant to
Section 11-401, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, the Council and
Mayor do hereby approve that said territory may became a part of
the City of Kalispell, to be known as:
PETERSEN ADDITION, KALISPELL ADDITION, No. 59
SECTION 2. The City Council has Pound that inasmuch as dedication
of park land within the platted area of Petersen Addition would
be unsuitable, uneconomical, difficult to develop or maintain
or otherwise is unsuitable for park and playground purposes, it
is hereby ordered by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Flat-
head County, Montana, that land dedication for park purposes be
waived and that cash in lieu of park land be accepted in accordance
with Title 11, Chapter 38, R.C.M., 1947. It is ordered that the
amount to be paid to the City in lieu of park is $�150.00
according to law.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat in the office
of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana,
said territory shall become a part of the City of Kalispell, and
shall bo classified as a No. 2 Rn atcbeneo District of said
City.
