A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 320
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA.
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement District
No'. 320'for the following described area:
A) In Woodland Park Addition to Kalispell:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 of Block 1; Lots 1, 2, 3 of Block 2;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 17, 18, 19 of Block 3.
,In Willis Addition to Kalispell:
Lots 1 through 10 of Block 1; Lots 1 through 13 of
Block 2.
C) And certain parcels in Section 8, Township 28 North,,
Range 21 West, M.P.M., and in Section 17, Township
28 North, Range 21 West, M.P.M., All in Flathead
County, Montana:
All of the above noted lots or parcels are contained in
the following described property:
A tract of land in Sections 8 and 17, Township 28 North,
Range 21 West, M.P.M., Flathead County, Montana, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is a distance of 138.8 feet
South of the Northwest corner of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 17,
and which point is also the Northwest corner of Wood-
land Park Addition; thence
East and along the Northerly boundary of said Woodland
Park Addition a distanoe of 277.7 feet to the North-
east corner thereof; thence
South 270 201 East and along the easterly boundary of
Woodland Park Addition a distance of 900 feet to
.the most Easterly corner of Lot 11 of Block 3 of
Woodland Park Addition; thence
South 14* 551 West and along the easterly boundary of
said woodland Park Addition a distance of 413.9 feet
to the Southeast corner of Woodland Park Addition;

West a distance of 513.8 feet to the Easterly boundary of
Woodland Avenue; thence
North 290 45' West and along the Easterly boundary of
woodland Avenue a distance of 143.9 feet;thenco,
North and along the Westerly boundary of Woodland Park
Addition a distance of 847.59 feet, more or less, to
the Southeast corner of a tract of land described in
Deed to Arther M. McGarvey and Vercie L. McGarvey,
recorded August 25, 19$4, under Recorder's Fee No.
4811, records of Flathead County, Montana; thence
West and along the Southerly boundary of said McGarvey
tract and the Westerly extension thereof, a distance
of 409 feet, more or lessto a point which is thu ' Southwest corner of that tract of land deeded to Guy V,.
Bemis and Faith Bemis, recorded September 11, 1943, in

Book 251, page 587, records of Flathead County, Montana;
thence
North a distance of 265 feet, more or less, to a point on
the Northerly boundary of College Avenue; thence
West a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to a point
which is the Southwesterly corner of that tract of
land deeded to A. J. Dean, recorded September 22,
1927, in Book 191, page 563, records of Flathead
County, Montana; which point is also described as
being a distance of 125.4 feet due east of the most
Southerly corner of Block "A" of Kalispell Townsite
Company's Addition No. Two to Kalispell; thence
North 160 45' West a distance of 178.8 feet to a point
on the Northerly boundary line of said Section 17;

East and along the Northerly boundary of said Section
17 and the Southerly boundary line of said Section
8 a distance of 180 feet more or less to the Westerly,
boundary line of Willis Addition; thence
North and along the Westerly boundary of said Willis
Addition a distance of 400 feet to a point which is
the Northeast corner of thattract of land deeded to
Wayne S. Sakariason and Amanda B. Sakariason in Deed
recorded July 22, 1965, under Recorder's Fee No. 6295
in Book 475, page 48, records of Flathead County,
Montana; thence
South 450 001 West a distance of 161.17 feet to a point;
thence
North 711 231 West a distance of 174.43 feet to a point
on the Easterly boundary of a County Road, thence
along said County Road's Easterly and Southerly
boundary the following distances;
North 461 101 East a distance of 157.40 feet; thence
North 360 55' East a distance of 89.00 feet; thence
North 63* 05' East a distance of 318.8 feet; thence
North 860 151 East a distance of 55.3 feet; thence
North 89* 151 East a distance of 230 feet, more or less,
to the Easterly boundary of the Southwest Quarter of
said Section 8; thence
South along the East boundary of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 8 and the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, a
distance of 1050 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be
made in said proposed Special Improvement District is the installa-
tion of a sanitary sewer system.
SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is
$126,000.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements
shall be assessed against each lot within the district to be
assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to
the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon
completion of the contract, or shall be paid in 20 equal install-
ments, hereby extended over a period of 20 years. Said assessment
shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District
No. 320.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special

Improvement District Warrants or bonus issued against said district
in sums not to exceed $1,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate not
to exceed seven percent (7%) per annum from date of registration
until called for redemption or paid in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 19th day of August , 1974, at 7:30
P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council
will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the
making of said improvements or the creation of said district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give the proper notice of the passage of this Resolution by publica-
tion and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in
the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper, published in the City of
Kalispell, Montana.
