RESOLUTION NO- 2785
A RESOLUTION EXT31DING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA.
BE IT RE30LVED 13Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SBOTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 2776
entitled "A Resolution of Intention to Extend the Corporate Limits of
the City of Kalispell, Montana", and after a hearing held at a regular
meeting of said City Council, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
in Kalispell,, Montana, aL 7:30 P. M. on November 2, 1970, pursuant to
said resolution and notice duly given by publication as required by law,
the boundaries or corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana
are hereby extended so as to embrace and include the tract of land
described in said resolution of intention No. 2776 and hereinafter
described, and the said described tract of land is hereby declared to
be annexed to and to be a part of the City of Kalispell, Montana, and
'within the corporate limits thereof. The time when this resolution
sh&ll go into effect and the extension of the boundaries of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, be made by the inclusion of said tract of land
within the boundaries or corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana is hereby declared to be November 2, 1970�
SECTION 2. That the tract of land so embraced and included 'within the
boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly
described as follows:
ALL THAT PORTION of ground consisting of a right-of-way known
as MEFtIDIAN ROAD, beginning at the intersection of the Easterly
right-of-way line of Meridian Road with the Westerly right-of-way
line of U. S- Highway No. 93, thence southerly along the Easterly
right-of-way line of Meridian Road to its intersection with the
Northerly right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 2, thence Westerly
60 feet along the Northerly line of U. S. Highway No. 2 to the
Westerly right-of-way line of Meridian Road, thence Northerly along
the Westerly line of Meridian Road to its intersection with the
Westerly line of U. S. Highway No. 93, thence Southerly along the
Westerly line of U. S. Highway No. 93 to the point of beginning.
