That the proposed additional area to be included within the corpgrate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly described as follows: ALL THAT PORTION of ground consisting of a right - of - way known as MERIDIAN ROAD, beginning at the intersection of the Easterly right - of - way line of Meridian Road with the Westerly right - of - way line of U. S. Highway No. 93s thence southerly along the Easterly right - of - way line of Meridian Road to its intersection with the Northerly right - of - way line of u. S. Highway No. 2, thence Westerly 60 feet along the Northerly -line of U. S. Highway No. 2 to the Westerly right - of - way line of Meridian Road, thence Northerly along the Westerly line of Meridian Road to its intersection with the Westerly line of U. S. Highway No. 93, thence Southerly along the Westerly line of U. S. Highway No. 93 to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as described, will be in the best interests of the City of Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof. That said addition will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to said City, and is a dedicated roadway as shown on maps and drawings recorded in the, Office of the Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana, SECTION 4. That on the 2nd day of November, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. in -the Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or disapproval, in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed to be embraceds within 20 days of the first publication of notice. SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give proper notice of the passage of this resolution, by publications as required by law, such pub. lication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper, publiched in the City of Kalispell, Montana. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, THE 6TH DAY OF JULY, 1970. �rence G.
