A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T14E CITY OF KALISPELL, NTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the Intention of the City Council, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Ordinance
#624 (Section 247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kal-isoell.
Montana, 1947) prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particular-
ly described as follows:
West Side of Buffalo Hill Drive
A tract of land located In Government Lot Fourteen (14 of Section
Six (6), T. 28 N., R. 21 W., P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana,
and more particular ly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of the Harmon Addition to
Kalispell, Montana, a plat of which is on file and of record In
the office of the County Clerk and Recorder, Flathead County,
Montana, being the true point of beginning thence Westerly a dis-
tance of 135.27 feet thence N. 30 Oil E. a distance of 240.75 feet
thence Easterly a distance of 135.0 feet to the Westerly line of
Buffalo Hill Drive thence S. 30 Oil W. a distance of 232.22 feet
along the Westerly line of Buffalo Hill Drive to the point of be-
ginning. Containing .733 acres more or less and to be known as
Addition Number 13 to the City of Kalispell, Montana.
SECTION 3. That the said tract of land above described, and to be In-
cluded within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
Is to be identified as follows.

SECTION 4. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described and identified above, will be in the best interests
of the City of Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabi-
tants of the contiguous tract above described, and to be included within
the limits of said City, and further that said addition will not mater-
ially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said
tract proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said City
is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 5. That the said tract of land above described and Identified,
and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, Is to be classified as NO. 1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE
SECTION 6. That on the 9th day of June, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. in the Coun-
cil Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meet-
ing thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval
or disapproval, in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries;
of said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract
proposed to be embraced, which expressions in writing have been filed
with the City Clerk within 20 days of the first publication of notice.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give the proper notice
of the passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law,
such publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper,
published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
SECTION 8. The map outlining the area proposed to be annexed, marked
Exhibit "A" Is hereby made a part of this resolution.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONT-
ANA, THE 121P DAY OF NQ 1909.
