IiIHERHAS, said council examined the petition and found, it
in the proper form bearing the requisit number of signatures
of qualified petitioners and in all other a2peots sufficient;
and
'UHEREAS, resolution number 2683 was adopted by said council
at regular meeting therof on Mlay 13, 1968, providing for the
oubmisslon of the question of Issung and selling bonds in the

council that a total of 2,978 electors of the City of Kalispell

I'MEREAS, said election was properly held on June 4, 1968,
at ��fhich election a total of 2,155 qualified electors OcLst
17allots, of -Which number 1,255 were in favor of the proposition,
874 were against such proposition and 26 ballots were unvoted
for proper reasons; and
nERms, more than 40% of the qualified electors entitled
to vote in said special election did veto on said proposition

proposition is deemed to have been adopted and apDzovad; and
WHEREAS, the returns of said election have been canvassed

after the date of said election, and at which time it was found
that more than 400 of the qualified electors voted thereon with
a majority In favor:., of said proposition;

1. That said bonds in the amount of $43,000.00 be Issued and

NOTICE OF SALE OF
CITY OF ZULISPELL, 414ONTLE-1
mUNICIPAL BONDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the council of the city of Kalispell,
�10r,tana, that said council will on the 18th day Of July, 1968, at
the hour of seven thirty P. M. at its council chambers in the
ty of Kalispell, Montana, sell to the highest, and best bidder
for cash serial bonds of said city in the total amount of
$43,000.00 for the Purpose of renovating and modernizing Wood-
land Park Swimming 2001 in said city.
Saidbonds ,111 be issued and sold in the amount of 1,000.00
each. Said bonds will boar the data of August 1, 1963 and
will all become due and payable on August 1, 1969. Said bonds
will bear interest rate not exceeding 6% per anaum payable on
thp, anniversary of the date of Issue or upon the date of
redemption. Any and/or all of said bonds can be redeemed at
the option of said city when there are sufficient funds avail-
able hazefore in the Woodland Park Swimming Pool fund against
which said bonds are Issued.
Said bonds will be sold for not less then their par value
with agreed Interest to data of delivery and all bidders must
state the lowest rate of interest at which they will purchase
the bonds at Dar. Said council reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and to sell the bonds at private sale.
All bids other than by or on behlaf of the State Board of
Land Co=issioners of the State of Montana must be accompained
by a certified check In the amount of 5% of the bid,, payable
to the order of the city clerk, which will be forfeited by
the successful bidder in the event he shall fail or refuse to
complete the purchase of said bonds in accordance with the
terms of his bid.
J4.11 bids shall be addressed to the council of the city of
Kalispell, Montana and delivered to the clerk of the said city.
