4. Girl Scout 90th Birthday Celebration Request4D City of Kalispell Post Office Box 1997 - Kalispell, Montana 59903-1997 - Telephone (406)758-7700 Fax(406)758-7758 MEMO TO: Chris Kukulski, City Mar FROM: Michael Baker, Director DATE: August 22, 2001 RE: Girl Scout 90th Birthday Dear Chris, I am attaching a letter from the State Director of the Montana Girl Scout organization. They are requesting the use of Lawrence Park for their 90th Birthday Celebration in August 2002. This request would require a special use permit for overnight camping at Lawrence park, and exclusive use of the park for the weekend. I personally believe this would be a rewarding opportunity for the community and support it 100%. The impacts to the park would be minimal with the bulk of the camping activities are scheduled for the back section or historic portion of the park, minimizing neighborhood impacts. I would appreciate your and/or Council's desires prior to consideration of the permit.
