Resolution 2618 - Resolution of Intent - SID 303RESOLUTION NO. 2618 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVIZIZOT DISTRICT NO. 303 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA- SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement District Nov 303 for the following des- cribed area: Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Block 1 of Northridge Addition; Lots 11 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 of Block 2 of Northridge Addition; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,.22, 23, 24, 25 of Block 3 of Northridge Addition; Lots I, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, S, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24•, 25, 26, 27 of Block 4 of Northridge Addition; Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Blockc 1, of Crestview Addition; Lots I and 2 of Crestview Addition No. 2; Lot 1, Block 1 of Crestview Addition No. 3; Lot 1, Block 1 of Blake0s Addi- tion; School District Five Junior High School Site, Block 1, Lot 1. SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed Spacial Improvement District is the installation of a sanitary sewer SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is $52,440.00. SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements shall be assessed against each lot within the district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon completion of the contract, or.shall be paid in 20 equal installments, hereby extended over a period of 20 years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District No. 303. SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in sums not to exceed $1,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed six percent (6i) per annum from date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. SECTION 7. That on the 5th day of June, 1967, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall In the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meet- ing thereof, the City Council will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the making of said improvements or the creation,of said district. SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper, published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
