BACKGROUND: The City of Kalispell Architectural Review Committee began an awards
program in 2010 to acknowledge quality development in the community that reflects the goals and
purpose of the committee — encouraging originality and innovation to protect and enhance the city's
character and appeal. While there have been a lot of examples of good, quality development within
the city over the past few years, they have selected the following projects from 2013 — 2014 for
special recognition:
Project: Kalispell Kidds (1252 N Meridian)

Project: Three Rivers Bank (233 E Idaho)

RECOMMENDATION: Recognize Mark Norley, chair of the committee, to formally make the
presentation.

The City of Kalispell Architectural Review Committee has recently selected recipients for its
annual awards program. The committee feels that there have been a lot of examples of good,
quality development within the city over the past few years and wanted to recognize a few of the
exceptional ones for their efforts. They selected the following projects from 2013 — 2014 for
special recognition. The official award presentation will take place on October 5 during the
Kalispell City Council meeting at 7:00 pm at City Hall.
