OLD BUSINESS:
Calaway Apartments —1079 N Meridian; new apartment complex. Jentz sent out a letter with new
deadlines. They will need to get revised drawings in by mid -October, and be under construction by
December 15th. This will be on the agenda for next week.
Kalispell Regional Medical Center— 310 Sunnyview; ER Addition/Renovation. Public Works is
still waiting for revised plans from their engineer. This will be on the agenda for next week.
Spring Prairie Phase IV — overall site development plan. Sorensen has requested information on
their lighting. Jentz stated we are waiting for their Final Plat to be submitted for the hotel. Freyholtz
asked if we received any revised parking layout regarding their right -in, right -out design. It will be
essentially a "T" as requested by MDT in Helena. We have not yet received the revised parking
plans. Tabler noted that Public Works has three outstanding items that need to be taken care of
before approval. Fincher informed us that Kidsports will be selling soil to Blumenstein. Haskins
noted that Public Works needs a letter from Kidsports stating they know about the retention pond
location being too close to the property line, that they are aware of this encroachment, and are okay
with it. Fincher will call Dan Johns from Kidsports today to discuss this setback. He noted that
Kidsports would like to see the amenity package that originally went to City Council. This will be on
the agenda for next week.
Marriot — Spring Prairie 4 (Old Reserve Dr); new hotel. They are trying to submit for Final Plat on
the 21st but will probably not be on the Council agenda until October 5th. Freyholtz stated MDT will
be issuing an encroachment permit for temporary access for construction. Regarding their bond on
the Final Plat with the roadway being a part of that requirement, Haskins requested the water main
that goes in the road also be included in the bond. Lighting was discussed. This will be on the
agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
