RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CRRATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT Dr STRICT NO,299
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIN CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement District No. 299 for the
purpose of installing a storm sewer on Seventh Avenue East North, between
Washington Street and North City Limits, and concrete curbs on either side
of Seventh Avenue.East North, between Idaho Street and North.City Limits line.
SECTION 2. The boundaries -of the area to he included within this special
improvement district are described as follows:
Bounded on the South by Idaho Street; on the East by the
alley east of Seventh Avenue East North; on the west by the
alley west of Seventh Avenue East North, and on the north
by the North City limits line, embracing the west half of
Blocks 2; 9B; IOC; and the cast half of Blocks 8; 11; and
lots 2; 3; 4; 5; and 6; of Block 3; all in Duncan Addition
to Kalispell, Montana.
SECTION 3. That the general character of the improvements to be made in
said proposed Special Improvement District is the installation of a storm
sewer and concrete curbs.
SECTION 4. That the estimated cost of said improvements 4s $8,916.00.
SECTION 5. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements shall be
assessed against each lot within the district to be assessed for that part
of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 6. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon completion
of the contract, or shall be paid in ten equal installments hereby extended
over a period of ten years. Said assessments shalt constitute a fund to be
known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 299.
SECTION 7. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement
District warrants issued against said District in sums not to exceed $1000.00
each, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed A per annum, from date of
registration until called for redemption or paid in full.
SECTION 8. That on the 7th day of May, 1962, at 7:10 P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting, the City Council will hear and pass on any protests that may be
made against the making of said improvements or the creation of said District.
SECTION 9. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this Resolution by publication and mailing
as required by law. Such publication is to be made in the Daily Inter Lake,
as daily newspaper, published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
