RESOLUTION NO. 2394
A RESOLUTION DECARING TILAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS AND THAT IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE
EXPEUDITUR'ES IN EXCESS OF VE AMOUNT BUDGETED FOR THE POLICE PENSION FUND.
MIEREAS, during the fiscal year of 1958-59 an emergency arose in the transfer of
police Chief Meade James and Assistant Police Chief Paltner Christopherson front the
active to reserve status of Police Officers, and it was necessary to pay the
pensions from the Police Pension Fund in the amount of $2,004.35 in excess of the
amount budgeted for pensions, which expendi0are could not be antici?ated at the time
of fixing the budget;
NOW 'THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY '111E MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF rHE crry OF KALISPELL,
that by reason of the facts above stated, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
tinder the laws of the State of 'Montarm, and that the expenditure of �2,004.35 in
excess of the Police Pension budget, Is hereby approved and authori7ed for the purpose
set forth®
