RESOLUTION NO.5734
A RESOLUTION MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR THE BID (BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT) OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR.
2015-2016 AND LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT FOR THE BID FOR FISCAL 2015-2016.
WHEREAS, the assessment cost of the Business District for the fiscal year 2015-201 6 is estimated
to be $24,000, and the levy revenue will generate $51,413 for a total of $75,413.
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on the 6th day of July, 2015, the City Council did consider all
objections made to said estimates and to the basis of levy and assessments for
payment for said costs (included as part of the City of Kalispell budget).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied upon each and every dollar of the taxable
valuation of the Business Improvement District of Kalispell,
Montana, for the fiscal year 2015-201 6, the following levy:

. SECTION 2. That there is hereby levied upon each and every dollar of the taxable
valuation within the Business Improvement District of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, for the fiscal year 2015-201 6, the following assessment:

SECTION 3. That the annual appropriation for the Business Improvement District of the
City of Kalispell, Montana are hereby fixed as follows:
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT $148,734
SECTION 4. The Business Improvement District Board of Directors is hereby authorized
to transfer any part of an unencumbered balance of an appropriation to a
purpose or object for which the appropriation for the current year is
insufficient or to transfer betweens items appropriated within the fund.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL THIS 17TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2015.
