Approval of Minutes: Bill moved to approve July 28 minutes; Julie seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Old Business:
Treeline Village — Treeline Road; new apartment complex (8 12-plex buildings).
Waiting for submittal of mesh material.
Aluma Glass — 32 1" Ave W; exterior fagade and wall signs. Waiting for submittal.
Popeye's — 201 18t' St E; new restaurant. Went over updates addressing issues from last
meeting. Better color representation, ran stone further up the sides, added a landscape
island with a tree that will help shield the rear area. Needed to drop landscaping in
parking lot due to issue with neighbor. Uplighting on shutters is good. Discussed
variations in level of rock. Suggested that they add screening around the garbage area.
Russ moved to approve; Julie seconded. Approved 5-0.
New Business:
Montana First Insurance — 1088 N Meridian; freestanding sign; waiting for submittal.
Bestow — 217 Main St; projecting sign. Need rigid attachment. Julie moved to approve;
Bill seconded. Approved 5-0
Marriot Springhill Suites — Old Reserve Drive; new hotel. Roof equipment hidden
(location and height); discussed landscaping and view from Kidsports. Should have
evergreen mix on south property line. Mark moved to approve with consideration to the
evergreen trees; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
Courtyard Apartments — 1842/1848 Airport Rd; remodel and addition; Bill moved to
approve; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
Other Discussion:
Began discussion of ARC awards — need to go look at some of them. Also discussed
ARC procedures relative to emails.
