A RESOLUTION OF INTENITION TO CREATE SPECIAL UGHTINO DISTRICT NO. 52
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
1. That it is the intention of the City Council to create a special lighting
district, hereby designated SPECIAL LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 52, in Highland Park
Addition and Golf Course Addition No. 2 of Kalispell, Montana.
2. That the general character of the improvements to be made is the installation
of new street lights in this area.
3. That the approximate cost of said improvonents is estimated to be $500.00.
4. That three -fourths of the cost of such improvements shall be assessed against
the lots within the district, each lot to be assessed for that part of the cost
which its area bears to the whole area in the district, and the remaining one-
fourth shall be paid from City funds.
5. That said assessment shall be paid in full on completion of the improvements,
or shall be paid for in one annual installment levied for the year 1959. Said
assessments shall constitute as fund known as Special Lighting District No. 52.
Q That said improvement shall be paid for by Special Lighting District No. 52
warrant, issued against said District, bearing interest not to exceed 6Z per
annum, from date of registration until called for redemption.
7. That an the 3rd day of Novenber, 1958, in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 P. M., at a regular meeting,
the City Council will hear and pass on all protests that may be made against
the naking of such improvements or the creation of such district.
S. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to give the proper notice of the passage
of this resolution by publication, and mailing as required by law. Such publication
is to be made in the.Kallspell News -Farm Journal, a weekly nemspaper, published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
