Resolution 2366 - Accepts Federal Grant - Sewage Treatment PlantRESOLUTION NO. 2366
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell, Kalispell, Montana, has heretofore. made
application to the Department of Health, Edtratlon, and Welfare of the
United State of America for a Federal grant for an addition to an existing
primary sewage treatment plant under the provisions of the Federal Water
Pollution Control Act (33 U. S. C. 466 et seq.); and
WHEREAS, the Surgeon General of the Public Health Service, acting in behalf
of the United States of America, has extended an offer to the City of Kalispell,
Kalispell, Montana, of a Federal grant in connection with such proposed project
in the amount of $63,000.00, which offer contains certain conditions and
assurances; and
W[FREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Kalispell, Montana, to accept such offer and grant on the basis of the terms
and Condit -ions connected therewith, and under the provisions of said Federal
Water Pollution Control Act; Now Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Honorable Claude Walter, May or of the City of
Kalispell, Kalispell, Montana, be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to sign the execute on behalf of said City of Kalispell, the acceptance of
said offer, contained in Section III thereof, and in so doing to make the
assurances contained in said offer in the nam e of and on behalf of the said
City Of Kalispell, Kalispell, Moatana,
