Resolution of intention to extend the Corporate Limits of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, and describe the boundaries thereof.
BE IT UESOLVEL Pa T!HF CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cl1Y OF KALISPELL, MONTAMA.
Section 1. That it is the Wartion of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
to extend the corporate limits of said City and to amend Section 247 of the
revised ordinances of the City of Kalispell of 1%7, prescribing the limits
of said City.
Section 2. That the proposed additional area to he incinded within the
corporate limits of said City in more particularly described as follows:
All of Lot Six (6) which in 80 feet excepting the south thirty (30) feet
thereof of the Hollister's 01bridian Tracts.
Also a tract of land in the Northeast Ouarter of Section 13, Township 28
North of Range 22 Vest, described an follows;
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 6; thence North along Meridian Road
a distance of 15 fact to a point; thence West at right angles and parallel
to the North line of Lot 6, a distance of 200 feet; thence South at right
angles and parallel to Meridian Road 15 feet to the Nortimost corner ol.'
Lot 6, thence Past alonr the North line oC Lot 6, a distance of 200 feet,
to he roint of beginning; togother with all vatcr anyltor righLu appurtenant
thereto.
Section 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell
as described above will be be the best interest to the City of Kalispell, and
the inhabitants thereof, and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tracts
above described, mid to he included within the limits of said City, and further
that such addition will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City
of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed to be included within the corporate
linits of said City are contiguous to said City.
Section 4, That an the 5th day of November, 1956, at, 7:30 P. M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will pass on all protests that may be made
against the extension of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of
these protests is hereby declared to be November 2, 1956, at 5:00 o'clock P. N,
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required by law,
such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper publish-
ed in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
