RE: Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) Board Appointments
The Kalispell TBID Board of Directors is requesting City Council confirmation of their decision
to transfer member Vanessa Nordahl from representing a medium property to representing a large
property and the appointment of new member Dawn Hendrickson representing a medium
property. Please see the attached correspondence from the TBID Board of Directors outlining
their decision and the current list of board members.
Tourism Business Improvement District: Vanessa Nordahl (large property owner)
Dawn Hendrickson (medium property owner)
RECOMMENDATION: Mayor Johnson offers a recommendation to confirm the
appointment of Vanessa Nordahl and Dawn Hendrickson to the Tourism Business Improvement
District followed by a member of the council making a motion to accept the recommendation and
confirm the appointments.

Dear Esteemed Council Members,
At the January 14, 2015 TBID Board of Directors Meeting action was taken on the following items:
Vacating board seats: Vanessa Nordahl, a current board member with the Homewood Suites transferred to the
Hampton Inn. The board approved Vanessa's transfer to a large property board seat representing the Hampton
Inn. The board also approved the application from Dawn Hendrickson, the Director of Sales at the Homewood
Suites, to fill the vacated medium property seat. A letter was sent to all TBID members requesting nominations
for the vacated seats.
The board approved the applications and is now requesting approval from City Council. Current list of board
members and terms is attached.
The Kalispell Chamber and Convention & Visitor Bureau appreciates the continued support of the City Council.
