Under Montana state lave, at the end of the probationary period and within 30 days the appointment of the officer roust be submitted to the City Council for consideration. Officer Brinton is a 2010 graduate of Flathead High School, and a 2014 graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in Sociology. I am proud to report that Officer Brinton has exceeded our lofty expectations of hint. He has demonstrated maturity, decision making and leadership well beyond his years. As an example of the bind of person Mr. Brinton is; during the heavy snow days in early January Officer Brinton spent his days off driving around Kalispell seeking people who needed help shoveling snow. Officer Brinton exemplifies the Kalispell Police Department values, mission and motto - "Striving to Exceed Expectations".
