Re.- Confirmation of Officer Eric Brinton
Dear Mr. Fussell,
Ytrh)ing to

Expech7tiOns }
Officer Eric Brinton has successfully completed the Kalispell Police Department's one year
probationary period effective January 21, 2015. Under Montana state lave, at the end of the
probationary period and within 30 days the appointment of the officer roust be submitted to the
City Council for consideration.
Officer Brinton is a 2010 graduate of Flathead High School, and a 2014 graduate of the
University of Montana with a degree in Sociology.
I am proud to report that Officer Brinton has exceeded our lofty expectations of hint. He has
demonstrated maturity, decision making and leadership well beyond his years.
As an example of the bind of person Mr. Brinton is; during the heavy snow days in early January
Officer Brinton spent his days off driving around Kalispell seeking people who needed help
shoveling snow.
Officer Brinton exemplifies the Kalispell Police Department values, mission and motto -
"Striving to Exceed Expectations".
It is with my highest recommendation that I submit Officer Eric Brm' ton for confirmation.
Sincerely,
Ale
