Resolution 2287 - Road Abandonment - Portion of Sterling AveRESOLUTION NO. 2287 BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, THAT WF, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, after receiving a petition for the closing of part of Sterling Avenue and Alley in Highland Park Addition to Kalispell, Montana, described as follows: All that portion of Sterling Avenue lying East of a line which is the southerly continuation of the westerly boundary of Lot 11 of Block 4 of Highland Park Addition to Kalispell, Montana, and including that portion of the alley along the easterly side of said Block 4 South of a line which is a continuation of the northerly boundary of said Block 4; and further finding that said petition alleges that all of the owners of lots adjoining Sterling Avenue and the Alley to be vacated have signed said petit -ion; and that said petition was in writing, and that the closing of said Street and alley can be done without detriment to the public interest, and further finding that notice of said petition was duly given in accordance with Section 11-2802 R. C. M. 1947; ]HE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that we, The Mayor and City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, hereby Order and Decree that the above described Sterling Avenue and alley in Highland Park Addition to Kalispell, Montana, be, and the same hereby is vacated and abondoned and discontinued, and that the land therein shall attach to and become part of the adjoining lots and properties.
