Resolution 2264 - Resolution of Intent - SID 289433 RESOLUTION NO. 2264 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 289. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district hereby designated as Special Improvement District No, 289, and said Improvement District shall be for Highland Park Addition to Kalispell, Montana. Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the installation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $8,500.00. Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such improvements shall be assessed against each lot within the district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district. Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon completion of the contract or shall be paid in three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessments shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 289. Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in sums not to exceed 01,000,00, each bearing interest at 4% per annun from date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. Section 7. That on the 4th day of April, 1955, at the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kalispell*,Montana, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., a regular meeting of 'the City Council will hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of such improvements or the creation of such districts. Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of the resolution by publication and mailing as required by law. Such publication to be made in the Kalispell News -Farm Journal, a weekly newspaper, published in the City of Kalispell, Montana, Passed and approved this 7th day of March, 1955. D. M.
