Russ moved to approve the October 28 minutes; Janet seconded.
Approved 5-0.
Historic Jail Renovation — 800 S Main; renovations and addition. David recused
himself. Two story addition on the east side. Previously tabled. Comment on the
windows not matching the existing curved features. Changing the south face — maybe
raise the wall (concluded it was better not to). Materials — asphalt shingle, custom color
brick to match. Discussed glass connection between the existing and the addition. They
can add the curved headers over the windows and add some banding on the east side to
match. Russ moved to approve with the two changes (headers and banding); Bill
seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
New Business:
J2011ice Supply — 115 W Wyoming; new storage building. Matching existing
colors/materials. Split face CMU. Trees along eastern boundary (not shown on plans -
reviewed and approved with trees as shown on elevation drawing). Bill moved to
approve; Russ seconded. Approved 5-0.
Flathead County Office Building — 1101 1" Ave W; new office building. David
recused. CTA presented computerized model. Seven foot parapet. Skyway is more
phase 2. Comment that Main St (parking/landscaping) could be improved — maybe add
trees along the road. Bill moved to approve; Russ seconded. Approved 4-0.
