HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
Canvas Church — 255 Summit Ridge; expansion of existing church. This is a 6,000 sq. ft. addition
off the front that is basically filling in some interior space in the building. Public Works needs more
information on stormwater. They are meeting with the City tomorrow. This will be on the agenda
for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Flathead High School/Elrod Elementary School Residential Parking District — There was a
Work Session held on Tuesday night, October 28th. Discussions continued regarding the parking
district and they are getting closer to a resolution.
Captain's Marine — This will be going before the City Council on Monday night.
OTHER BUSINESS:
J2 Office Products — 700 Sunset Blvd. — Their addition will be a stand-alone building, 6,480 sq. ft.,
used for storage. There is an amendment to the zoning to allow something like this under the office
supply use. They will leave the existing building and the existing parking of 10 spaces intact. One of
the parking spaces in the southeast corner of the existing building will go away, and there will be
another parking space put in the corner next to the new building. There is one handicapped space.
Loading will be on the east side of the property. A screening fence will be put on that east boundary.
They plan to bind the two parcels together. The DOT water line is coming through Wyoming. They
will be tying into the City's line. They plan to leave the existing approach. McIntyre is still working
on their final water quality. The plate height is in the 16'-18' range; the roof structure with a flat roof
is 4'-5'. The building may need to be sprinklered because of the use. Flink would like to get the
cement pad poured this fall.
Chick-Fil-A — Review of new plans with preliminary comments. They have adjusted their access,
drive-thru, pedestrian access, and parking, with a 20' landscape buffer. Public Works would like to
see some utility plans. They plan to go forward with this in 2016.
First Avenues East and West — Freyholtz updated everyone that this MDT project is done for this
year. It will begin again in the spring.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:25 a.m.
