Resolution 2053 - Resolution of Intent - SID 270RESOLUTION NO. 290�a RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 270 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA; Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement district, hereby designated as Special Improvement District No. 270, and said Improvement District shall be for an unplatted area in See. 7, Twp. 28, Rge. 21 more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point which is the South property line of Washington Street at the intersection of the alley between 3rd and 4th Avenues West North which is also the centerline of the alley of Block 9, Kalispell Original Townsite and extending North on the centerline of said alley a distance of approxi- mately 1800 feet. Also, commencing at a point which is the South property line of Washington Street at its intersection. with the centerline of the alley between 5th and 6th Avenues West North which is also the centerline of the alley of Block 147, Addition No. 1, Kalispell Townsite and extending North a distance of approximately 1800 feet. Also, at the intersection of said alley with the South property line of Wyoming Street a distance of approximately 366 feet; thence North on the center- line of the alley between 4th and 5th Avenues 'Nest North a distance of approximately 400 feet. Section 2. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement district is the in- stallation of a sanitary sewer with necessary appurtenances. Section 3. That the approximate cost of said improvements is $9500.00. Section 4. That the entire cost and expense of such, improvements shall be assessed against each lot within such district to be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district, except those property owners who have previously constructed and maintained a private sewer in the fourth alley West North and. have paid previous assessments to the City of Kalispell for said sewers. Section 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in. three equal annual installments hereby extended over a period of three years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 270. Section 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special Improvement District warrants issued against said district in the sum of $100.00 each, bearing interest at 4 per cent per annum from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid in full. Section 7. That on, the seventh day of October 1946 at the Council Chambers of the City Hall at Kalispell, Montana, at 7:30 p.m., a regular meeting, the City Council will hear and pass upon all pro- tests that may be made against the making of such improvement of the creation of such District. Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publi- cation and mailing as required by law. Such publication to be made in the Kalispell Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana. Passed and approved this ZLrd day of September, 1946. D.
